The ADJ EP Lens 26 is a 26-degree high definition lens assembly for the Encore Profile Pro WW and Encore Profile Pro Color ellipsoidals. Both its minimum and maximum beam angle are 26.0 degrees: a fixed optic, not a zoom.

That is the point. A fixed lens sets the angle once and holds it, which is what you want in a repertory theatre, a house of worship, or any permanent install where a fixture lives in one position with one job. Nothing drifts out of adjustment between shows because there is nothing to drift.

26 degrees is the workhorse angle in ellipsoidal lighting: wide enough to cover a performer area from a reasonable throw, tight enough to keep light off the surrounding set. It is also the angle ADJ uses to publish lumen output figures for the Encore Profile Pro series, so what you get with this lens matches the specification sheet.

The assembly measures 9.7 in long, 6.8 in wide, and 6.8 in high, which keeps spare lenses stacking neatly in a road case. It is an optional accessory for the Encore Profile Pro series, purchased separately from the fixture.
