American DJ EPP IRIS Drop In Iris For Encore Profile Pro Color & Profile Pro WW

The ADJ EPP Iris is a drop-in iris for the Encore Profile Pro Color and Encore Profile Pro WW ellipsoidals. It slides into the fixture accessory slot and gives you manual control over beam size without changing lenses or refocusing the light.

A manual lever adjusts the aperture, and the movement is accurate enough to size a beam to a specific target: a lectern, a soloist, a piece of scenery, a communion table. That is work a zoom lens cannot do as cleanly, because narrowing a zoom changes the beam character along with its size.

The iris uses 20 tempered, heat resistant leaves. Twenty leaves means the closed aperture stays round rather than polygonal, and tempering matters because the iris sits at the gate where the fixture runs hottest.

Dimensions are 0.449 x 5.142 x 6.417 inches measured to the top of the iris frame. This is an optional accessory for the Encore Profile Pro Color and Encore Profile Pro WW, sold separately from the fixture.
