The Focus Spot 4Z is a compact moving head spot with a 200W cool white LED engine, motorized focus and motorized zoom from 11 to 22 degrees. The zoom range is the practical part: tighten it for gobo projection on a back wall, open it up for a punchier mid-air look, all from the console.

The fixture carries one gobo wheel with six rotating, replaceable aluminum gobos plus open, a gobo shake effect, and a color wheel with eight dichroic colors plus white. Two prism wheels, a rotating 5-facet linear and a rotating 6-facet circular, both indexable, break the beam into aerial patterns.

Control runs on DMX512 or internal programs across three channel modes at 16, 18 and 22 channels, with RDM support and 16-bit fine pan and tilt over 540/630 degrees of pan and 270 of tilt. Six dimming curve modes and 0-100% dimming cover everything from a nightclub to a camera-facing stage. A color LCD with a 6-button menu handles setup, and a USB port takes firmware updates.

Locking power in/out daisy-chains four units at 120V or ten at 240V, and 5-pin DMX in/out passes signal down the line. Two cooling fans keep the head running through long calls.

At 23 lb and 18 inches tall, it is manageable for one person on a load-in and small enough for permanent installs in nightclubs, houses of worship and small stages. Two fit inside the ADJ DRC HM road case.
