American DJ FOCUS SPOT 6Z 300W GOBO DMX Cool White LED Moving Head Stage Light

The Focus Spot 6Z is the largest head in the Focus Spot line, built around a 300W cool white LED engine producing 11,000 lumens. It is aimed at rooms where the 200W models run short: bigger stages, higher trims, brighter competing light.

Two gobo wheels carry seven patterns each plus open, and gobo morphing lets one pattern dissolve into the next for effects a single wheel cannot produce. Two color wheels each hold seven colors plus white. Two indexable prisms, a rotating 6-facet linear and a rotating 6-facet circular, handle aerial patterns, while heavy frost creates wash looks and light frost softens gobo and prism edges. A motorized iris resizes the beam independently of the 9 to 28-degree motorized zoom, and motorized focus keeps patterns sharp across throw distances.

Connectivity goes further than the smaller Focus Spots. Alongside 3-pin and 5-pin DMX in/out and PowerLock in/out, RJ45 in/out supports Art-Net and sACN, so the head fits network-controlled rigs in theaters and installs. Two DMX modes at 22 and 25 channels, RDM, six dimming curve modes, 16-bit fine pan and tilt over 630 and 270 degrees, and pan and tilt locks round out the control set. A USB port handles firmware updates.

The fixture runs on 90-240V with a 380W maximum draw and weighs 43.6 lb. Two fit inside the DRC MHX road case, which keeps a pair moving as one unit between gigs. It suits temporary live events and fixed installs in nightclubs, stages and houses of worship.
