American DJ HYDRO BEAM X1 100W Outdoor LED Wireless DMX Moving Head Beam Light

The Hydro Beam X1 is a compact IP65-rated moving head beam running an Osram Sirius HRI 100W discharge lamp rated at 6,000 hours. It produces a 3-degree beam sharp enough to read as a solid shaft of light in haze, and the small chassis moves quickly between positions.

IP65 sealing is why this fixture goes places others cannot. The casing keeps out dust, sand, moisture, and liquid, so it runs at desert festivals, in rain, and in open-air clubs and outdoor entertainment spaces where an indoor fixture would fail. Sealed construction also means less internal cleaning and longer service life on permanent outdoor installations.

The color system carries 12 dichroic colors plus CTB, UV, and open. A metal GOBO wheel holds 11 patterns, 4 beam reducers, and open. A 16-facet circular prism rotates in either direction and overlays on the beam, while an independent frost filter turns the output into a wash.

Control runs over DMX512 with RDM in 11- or 14-channel modes, or wirelessly over WiFly EXR with a 98.42 ft (30 m) antenna range. All connections are IP65 rated with rubber covers, including 5-pin DMX in and out, locking power in and out, and a USB port for firmware updates. The fixture weighs 36 lb and operates from 14 degrees F to 113 degrees F.
