IMPERIO PRO IMP118

The Imperio Pro IMP118 is an active 18-inch subwoofer built for large events and matched to the Imperio Pro IMP205 line array. An 18-inch high-power woofer with a 4-inch voice coil in a bass-reflex cabinet covers 32Hz to 130Hz at -10dB and 38Hz to 130Hz at -3dB, low enough that the bottom octave registers physically rather than just audibly.

A class-D amplifier supplies 1800W RMS and 3600W peak for 136dB peak SPL, with headroom that keeps distortion low when the system is pushed. Onboard DSP handles delay, crossover, and cardioid processing. Crossover frequency is selectable at 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, or 120Hz with an LR 24dB per octave slope, and selectable cardioid and end-fire settings steer low frequency energy off the stage and out of the back of the room.

The cabinet is CNC-machined premium birch plywood in a black polyurea finish with a black powder-coated steel grille. Twenty M10 captive-nut fly points and an M20 pole mount cover flown and stacked configurations, while recessed handles, bottom nylon skids, rear rubber feet, and interlocking stacking hardware keep a 101 lb cabinet manageable.

The rear panel carries XLR input and thru for linking additional powered boxes, plus IP65-rated locking power in and thru so several cabinets run from one outlet. A protective rain cover shields the amplifier panel and sockets outdoors, and the supply accepts 100-240V for use anywhere.
