American DJ Jolt Bar FXIP Wash Effect Light

The Jolt Bar FXIP is the weatherproof version of ADJ's linear strobe and wash bar. A center strip of 112 x 5W cool white SMD LEDs delivers hard white strobing, and 448 x 0.5W RGB SMD LEDs on either side handle color washes and chase effects, all inside an IP65-rated housing rated for temporary outdoor use.

That rating is the difference between a bar that comes off the rig when weather turns and one that stays up. Festival stages, outdoor concerts, and large-scale productions can leave it in position through rain and dust.

Both LED types are grouped into independently controlled zones, 16 white and 32 color, for chases, sweeps, and pixel effects across the 1 m length. Twenty-five RGB macros and nine cool white macros speed up programming, and 13 DMX modes from 6 up to 126 channels set how much control you want.

Aria X2 wireless DMX is built in and also compatible with WiFLY EXR. A frost lens assembly attaches to the front to blur pixel dots, and a supplied connecting plate joins units end to end for continuous runs. Beam angle is 78 degrees with a 117-degree field and CRI of 89.

IP65-rated locking power and 5-pin DMX connectors sit on either side of the fixture for clean cable runs, and up to six units link on one 120V circuit. The bar weighs 20.5 lb.
