Jolt Panel FX2

The Jolt Panel FX2 is a strobe, wash, and eye candy fixture in one panel. Forty-eight 5W cool white SMD LEDs run down the center for traditional strobe flashes, surrounded by 800 x 0.5W RGB SMD LEDs that handle color washing and animated chase effects.

Both LED types are grouped into independently controlled zones, 6 white and 40 color, which is what lets the panel run pixel patterns and chases instead of flat flashes. Twenty-five RGB macros and nine cool white macros are built in, and 10 DMX modes from 6 to 141 channels let you decide how much console space the fixture uses.

Aria X2 wireless DMX is built in and also works with WiFLY EXR, so panels in floor packages or hard-to-cable truss positions still get data. A channel on the front of the unit accepts light shaping filters that blur the pixel dots, giving you a different look from the same fixture between shows.

Output is aimed at large stages, festival productions, rental inventory, and permanent installations in big nightclubs. Beam angle is 73 degrees with a 111-degree field, and strobe runs from 1Hz to 20Hz.

The rear panel carries locking 5-pin DMX in and out, locking power in and out for daisy-chaining up to six units at 120V, and an OLED display with a 4-button touch menu. Holes are provided for an omega bracket as an alternative to the variable angle bracket. The panel weighs 13.67 lb.
