American DJ LTS6 AS Accu-Stand 9-Ft Adjustable Tripod Lighting Stand with T-Bar

The Accu-Stand LTS6 AS is a black tripod lighting stand that extends to 9 feet and weighs 11 lb. It is built for par cans and other lightweight fixtures, and it collapses down for transport between gigs.

The included T-bar is 1 inch in diameter with 8 hanging point bolts, so several fixtures mount along the bar and space out to cover a stage or dance floor. The FS-Adapter mounts a single fixture, such as a moving head, directly on top of the stand instead of the T-bar.

Nine feet of height puts light above the crowd and aims it down onto the floor rather than into people's faces. That height matters most in rooms with no rigging points, which describes most bars, banquet halls, school gyms, and private event spaces.

At 11 lb, the stand goes up and comes down in about a minute and loads into a car alongside the rest of the rig. Mobile DJs, bands, and small venues typically run these in pairs, one on each side of the stage or dance floor.
