MBMHD3

The Eliminator Lighting MBMHD3 is a heavy-duty mirror ball motor that hangs and turns a mirror ball at 2.5 to 3 RPM. The slow speed is the point: paired with a pin spot fixture (sold separately), hundreds of reflected beams move gradually across a room instead of racing past the crowd. It handles mirror balls up to 16 inches and a maximum load of 22 lb (10 kg), which covers the glass ball sizes most clubs and event spaces actually hang. Installation is straightforward. Three mounting holes let you fasten the 2.5 lb housing to a ceiling plate, beam, or truss, and the included 13-inch chain attaches to the ball and can be shortened if you want it riding closer to the motor. A safety eyelet and O-shaped screw gate locking carabiner are in the box for a secondary attachment point. Operation is plug and play, with no controller or data line to run. The MBMHD3 is ETL approved for electrical safety, which matters when an installer signs off on permanent rigging in nightclubs, fun centers, event venues, lounges, and bars. It runs on AC 120V/60Hz or 230V/50Hz (non-switchable) and is rated for indoor use only. At 5.5 x 5.5 x 3.25 inches, it stays visually out of the way above the ball it is turning.
