The ADJ MDF2 is a single panel of the Magnetic Dance Floor system, a portable LED floor you build one 23.62-inch square at a time. Each panel carries an array of 3-in-1 RGB LEDs under an opaque tempered glass surface that glows in a wide range of mixed colors, with a 160-degree viewing angle so color holds from across the room. Panels join with a magnetic locking system and pass power and data to the next unit in the row with no cable between them, which is where the setup time savings come from on event day. Each row feeds from an MDF2PR power ramp carrying 3-pin XLR data and 4-pin 24V DC power, and dedicated power supplies cover floors of 9, 15, 20, 40, 117, or 156 panels. Control runs from a DMX512 console or an SD controller with sound, audio, and remote options, in 3, 5, 7, or 10 channel modes. Each panel stands just 2.76 inches tall, weighs 26.57 lb, and holds up to 61.5 lb/ft2, which is a packed crowd rather than a careful one. That combination suits mobile entertainers and production companies working temporary events as well as nightclubs and bars building a permanent floor.
