The ADJ MDF2FC9 is a heavy duty flight case built around nine MDF2 dance floor panels. Nine custom slots hold each panel separately so tempered glass surfaces never rub against each other in the back of a truck, which is the difference between a floor that looks new in year three and one that does not. Four heavy duty casters roll a loaded case from the loading dock to the ballroom, and four carry handles give the crew places to grab when stairs or a lift gate get involved. Heavy duty latches keep the lid closed on rough roads, and stacking cups molded into the top lid hold a second case in place when gear is stacked in a trailer. For a mobile entertainer or production company running MDF2 floors week after week, the case is what keeps a nine-panel floor a single rolling load instead of an armload of glass panels and a lot of care.
