MEGA FLASH DMX

The American DJ Mega Flash DMX is a compact 800W strobe for rooms that need a hard flash without a full-size strobe in the rig. The ZB-800 lamp puts out enough punch for club drops, band hits, and haunted house scares, while the housing stays small enough to clamp to a truss corner or tuck behind a DJ booth. Control is intentionally simple. Two DMX channels cover speed and dimming, so it takes two slots in a patch and behaves predictably on any console. Speed and dimmer knobs on the rear panel let you set it and walk away when no console is running, and 0-100% dimming control means the flash intensity matches the room instead of blowing it out. A built-in microphone runs the strobe in sound active mode, triggering flashes off the music with no operator at all: the practical choice for mobile DJs working alone or for bar installs where nobody is running lights. At 4 x 15.5 x 8.5 inches and 5 lb, it hangs from a light bar or a truss clamp without adding meaningful weight to a portable rig, and it packs in a standard effects case alongside the rest of the show.
