MYDMX 5 is ADJ's full DMX control package: the USB-C interface plus the complete software, running 1024 channels across two universes with an upgrade path to 2048 channels and four universes. The fixture library covers more than 20,000 profiles, so patching a rig usually means finding your fixture rather than building a profile from a manual. The software is built around how shows actually get programmed. Super Scene combines existing scenes on a timeline and updates automatically when a source scene changes. The FX engine creates effects on any channel type with 2D mapping. Live Mixer controls group dimmers, strobe, blinder, and color from one rack, while live rotary encoders adjust dimmer, speed, phase shift, and size per scene, and scenes play forwards, backwards, or both. Music sync works from tap tempo, MIDI clock, Ableton Link, or line-in audio. Mapping mode links any control to a keyboard, MIDI controller, or DMX console in one click, and limits cap fixture movement and dimming across a whole show. Hardware matches: two 5-pin and two 3-pin DMX outputs, 10 scene trigger buttons for live or stand alone use, 99 scenes across 5 pages, SD card memory for a nearly unlimited stand alone show, and an Ethernet socket for local network control. Note the RJ45 socket is an alternative to USB and does not output Art-Net; it also allows stand alone control from the MYDMX 5 Remote app on iPhone, iPad, or Android.
