MYDMX5 pairs a USB-C DMX interface with full lighting control software for Mac and PC, giving a lighting designer everything needed to build a show from a laptop. The interface handles two DMX universes (1024 channels), upgradable to four universes, with two 5-pin and two 3-pin XLR outputs for connecting directly into most rigs, and ten onboard buttons trigger scenes live or in stand-alone mode without a computer attached. A fixture library of over 20,000 profiles covers lighting from essentially any manufacturer, and the software's Super Scene feature lets multiple scenes run together on a shared timeline that updates automatically if a source scene changes. A live mixer controls dimmers, strobe, and color per group in real time, while Music Sync locks a show to a track's BPM using tap-tempo, MIDI clock, or Ableton Link. The included myDMX 5 Remote App turns an iPhone, iPad, or Android device into a custom controller with buttons, faders, and color wheels, useful for mobile control or a fixed installation. Stand-alone storage holds up to 99 scenes across 5 pages, playable without a computer connected, and an SD card slot gives nearly unlimited storage for stand-alone show data. Between the hardware's DMX outputs and the software's timeline and live control tools, MYDMX5 covers both simple manual runs and fully programmed shows.
