The S-10012 is a 100' (30.5 m) speaker cable from the Accu-Cable S Series, wired with 12 gauge conductors and terminated 1/4" to 1/4" mono. It runs amplifier output to a passive speaker, which is the connection that takes the most abuse on a mobile rig.

Twelve gauge sits at the heavier end of the range, which keeps resistance low across the full 100 feet. That matters on a run this long: thinner wire over that distance costs you power at the speaker and heats up under load.

A 1/4" mono plug on each end fits the jacks on amplifiers and the passive speakers still working on plenty of rigs, so nothing needs adapting.

One hundred feet covers the setups where the amp rack and the speakers are nowhere near each other: mains at the far corners of a ballroom, a delay speaker at the back of a room, or a rack tucked offstage while the boxes sit out front.
