Product Description

The SMPC50 connects a fixture with a twist-lock power input to a standard wall outlet. One end is a locking power connector, the other a grounded 3-pin Edison plug, covering the most common power hookup in LED lighting without an adapter stack at either end.

Locking connectors exist for one reason: a friction-fit plug walks loose. This one seats with a quarter turn and stays put, so a fixture keeps running when someone crosses the cable run or a coil shifts under a riser. At 50' / 15.24 m, it reaches a truss position or a far corner of the room from the only outlet available.

Use it as the head-end feed for a group of linkable fixtures, then chain the rest with locking link cables so the whole group draws from one outlet. That keeps extension cords off the floor and makes strike faster, since the rig comes apart in short sections instead of one tangle.
