Stage Pak 1 is a complete dimming system for conventional par cans: one Stage Setter 8 DMX controller, two DP-415R four-channel dimmer packs, and the two DMX cables that tie them together.

Par cans have no onboard electronics, so they need an external pack to dim them and a controller to tell that pack what to do. This kit supplies both halves, already matched, which is the part people get wrong when buying the pieces separately.

The Stage Setter 8 runs in three modes: two banks of eight channels, eight channels, or one bank of sixteen. Four built-in programs and eight user-programmable programs cover static looks and simple chases, and a fog machine output control triggers a fogger from the desk instead of a separate remote. It speaks standard DMX-512 and accepts MIDI, so it can sit inside a larger show control setup, and an XLR polarity switch handles fixtures wired to the opposite standard.

Each DP-415R gives four dimming channels with two 3-prong Edison outlets per channel: eight outlets per pack, sixteen across the kit. Packs handle 15A total at 120V, 5A per channel, and each can be assigned as a dimmer or as a switch pack for non-dimmable loads. A changeable hanging bracket clamps to truss, or the pack mounts to a wall for permanent installs. RDM support and a four-button digital display keep setup quick.
