The Accu-Cable Tour Link 5P10 is a 10-foot, 5-pin male to 5-pin female DMX cable built for rigs that get packed and unpacked constantly.

Construction is where it separates from a basic data cable. Conductors are 22 AWG oxygen-free copper, 19 strands of 0.15mm tinned copper each, insulated with 1.25mm high-density polyethylene to hold the pair spacing that keeps DMX timing intact over a run. Shielding combines a braided oxygen-free copper layer with 100% aluminum coverage, so interference from nearby power runs and dimmers stays out of the data.

The outer jacket is thermoplastic polyurethane at 6.4mm diameter, which stays flexible in cold rooms and resists the crushing and abrasion a cable takes under road cases and foot traffic. Each end carries a 3.5 inch clear heat shrink sleeve for strain relief at the connector, the first place a data cable normally fails.

Ten feet is the standard fixture-to-fixture hop along a truss or between two lighting stands. The length is laser engraved on both connectors, so identifying a cable in a pile takes a glance rather than a guess, and an included velcro strap keeps the coil together in the case.
