VIZI BEAM RX2 [Used]

The Vizi Beam RX2 is a compact moving head beam fixture built around a 100W Osram Sirius HRI discharge lamp and a 2-degree beam angle, giving lighting designers a sharp, punchy beam in a small footprint. High-speed 3-phase pan and tilt motors move the fixture across 540 degrees of pan and 270 degrees of tilt, so a single unit can sweep a room quickly without lagging behind a fast cue. Two rotating prisms, a 16-facet circular and a 4-facet linear, multiply the beam into repeating patterns, and a 14-color dichroic wheel with CTO, CTB, and UV filters adds color without swapping gel. A frost filter converts the sharp beam into a wash when a softer look is needed, and 15 static gobos plus an open position give operators pattern options on the fly. On-board wireless DMX removes the need to run a data cable to every fixture, while outdoor-rated locking power connections support daisy-chaining several units off one circuit. A color LCD display with a 4-button menu handles setup, and firmware updates arrive over the air. At 168W max power draw and 16.5 lb, the RX2 fits into small venues and touring rigs that need punchy beam effects without the bulk of a larger fixture. It suits club installs, mobile DJ rigs, and any event where a fast, sharp beam matters more than raw output.
