The WIFI NET 2 is a 2-port wireless node that bridges DMX512, RDM, Art-Net, and sACN protocols over a built-in 2.4G WiFi connection, cutting down on the amount of physical data cable a rig needs to run. Two 5-pin XLR input/output ports and an indoor RJ45 input give operators flexibility to connect wired fixtures or a wired network alongside the wireless link, so a rig can mix wired and wireless DMX distribution as needed. Power comes from either a 9 to 12V DC supply or Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af), and the unit can run on DHCP or a static IP setup, which matters for integrating into an existing venue network. Configuration happens either from the unit's own menu or through a web browser, so setup doesn't require dedicated software. An M10 thread for clamp or rigging mounting and a safety eyelet let the node mount securely to truss or a wall bracket.
