Product Description

AstroLab 37 is a stage keyboard that puts Arturia's software sound library into dedicated hardware. Forty onboard instruments cover analog synths such as Mini V, Jup-8 V, Prophet-5 V and ARP2600 V, digital classics including DX7 V, CMI V and Synclavier V, organs like B-3 V and Vox Continental V, acoustic and electric pianos, augmented acoustic sounds, and Pigments. Eleven synthesis engines sit behind them: virtual analog, samples, wavetable, FM, granular, physical modeling, vector, harmonic, phase distortion, vocoder and Karplus.

The front panel stays uncluttered. A central navigation wheel moves through instruments, presets and playlists, and preset buttons jump straight to a sound type: pianos, electric pianos, organs, bass, leads, keys, pads, strings, brass, sequencer or your saved playlist. Four macro knobs (Brightness, Timbre, Time and Movement) each sweep several parameters at once, while four effect knobs handle delay, reverb and two insert effects per preset, all re-assignable in Analog Lab.

Multis run two parts together, so you can split the keybed for bass and lead or stack a pad under a piano. Connect an external MIDI keyboard and each part gets full key range. Connections include sustain, expression and two assignable pedal ports, two MIDI ports, a USB port for importing and exporting playlists, plus Bluetooth audio input for playing along to tracks.

Analog Lab Pro is included, so the same sounds open on your computer for preset editing, effect tweaks, playlist management and multitrack recording in your DAW, then sync back to the keyboard. The Sound Store adds compatible banks every month through AstroLab Connect, Analog Lab Pro or arturia.com. The chassis is also compatible with Arturia's Wooden Legs stand.

Features

    • Your Whole Sound Library In One Board

Forty Arturia instruments load onboard, from Mini V and Prophet-5 V to pianos, organs and samplers, so a full set runs from a single keyboard.

    • Find Any Preset Fast

A central navigation wheel plus dedicated preset buttons sort sounds by type, so you can move from pad to bass between songs without menu digging.

    • Big Changes From One Knob

Four macros for Brightness, Timbre, Time and Movement each move several parameters together, opening a filter and widening the stereo image in a single gesture.

    • Layer And Split On The Fly

Multis run two parts at once for stacked or split setups, and an external MIDI keyboard gives each part its own full key range.

    • Studio Editing, Stage Playback

Included Analog Lab Pro edits presets, effects and playlists on your computer, syncs them back to the keyboard and records multitrack inside your DAW.
