Arturia KEYSTEP MK2 32-Note Slimkey Keyboard Controller/Sequencer MIDI DIN/USB-C

KeyStep mk2 is a compact controller and sequencer for hybrid setups. A 32-note Slimkey keyboard with velocity and aftertouch handles playing duties, while two capacitive touch strips cover pitch bend and modulation alongside live Gate, Spice, and Dice sliders. Chord and Scale modes lock parts to a key and trigger full voicings from single notes.

The polyphonic step sequencer records or programs up to 64 steps with eight-note polyphony. A 16-mode arpeggiator runs from simple cycles through Poly, Walk, Pattern, and Random styles, and Phrase Arp remaps a sequence to the notes you play. Mutate, Spice, and Dice introduce musical variation and controlled randomness, and you can chain, overdub, undo, and automate bend and modulation while a pattern runs. An OLED display with a clickable encoder and full RGB feedback makes every edit readable.

Connectivity spans three worlds at once. Full-size MIDI DIN in and out handle classic hardware, USB-C MIDI handles DAWs and soft synths with bus power and no drivers, and four assignable CV/Gate outputs for Pitch, Gate, Mod 1, and Mod 2 control modular systems. A 3.5 mm sync in and out keeps vintage drum machines aligned, a TRS input takes a sustain or expression pedal, and MIDI in converts to CV so you can play modular gear from an external keyboard.

Analog Lab Intro with 500+ sounds and Ableton Live Lite are included. The unit weighs 2.43 lb and has a power switch and Kensington lock slot.
