Arturia POLYBRUTE 12 V 61-Key Midi USB Keyboard Controller+Software

PolyBrute 12 is a 12-voice analog synthesizer with a 61-key FullTouch MPE keybed that reads the position and acceleration of each key across its full travel. That means polyphonic aftertouch expression on every note, with three aftertouch modes plus regular synth action, so a single held chord can breathe, swell, and shift per finger.

Twelve voices give room for layered pads, wide unison, splits, and per-key modulation at the same time. Two Brute analog VCOs generate sawtooth, triangle, and square waves together, with Metalizer edge, sub oscillator weight, cross-mod, and sync. Two filters follow: a 12dB/oct Steiner-Parker with continuous slope type and Brute Factor feedback, and a 24dB/oct Ladder with distortion, configurable in series, parallel, or blended. A 12x32 modulation matrix acting as a 96-point digital patchbay routes envelopes, LFOs, and controllers to dozens of destinations at once.

Expression tools go further than the keybed. The Morphee pad maps X, Y, and Z pressure to any matrix destination and can randomize sequences with spice, dice, and ratcheting. A ribbon controller above the keys handles glides and sweeps. Morphing moves each preset between two full states, with separate modulation assignments for A and B.

Effects cover modulation, nine delay algorithms, nine reverb algorithms, and seven distortion types. There are 480 presets and 768 slots. PolyBrute Connect mirrors the panel in a Mac, PC, or plugin window for patch management and real-time two-way control. The aluminum and walnut chassis vents passively, so it runs silent in a recording room.
