A 2-micron vapor-deposited gold diaphragm and floating-capsule design isolate the element from shock and vibration, while the precision-machined brass baffle holds sensitivity steady over years of daily use. An 80Hz high-pass filter switches out room rumble and proximity bass buildup on close-miked vocals, and a 10dB pad handles loud sources like drums or amps without clipping the internal electronics.
