AT4051B Cardioid Condenser Microphone with Mic Clip

The AT4051B is a modular cardioid condenser microphone built for professional recording and the stricter demands of broadcast work. Its direct-coupled, balanced output stays clean even under high-output conditions, avoiding the distortion that can come from transformer-coupled designs, and its fast transient response captures difficult sources, from sharp percussion to breathy vocals, without smearing detail. The cardioid pattern gives strong front-to-back rejection, isolating the intended source from room noise and off-axis bleed.

A switchable 80Hz high-pass filter and 10dB pad adapt the mic to close-miked vocals or loud instruments, and a rugged turned-brass housing keeps it dependable through daily studio use. The AT4051B is built as two modular pieces, an AT4900b-48 body and an AT4051b-EL cardioid capsule, both available separately, so the same body can later take on omnidirectional or hypercardioid capsules as a session calls for it. It is fully RoHS-compliant, free of the substances restricted under the EU's hazardous substances directive. A mic clip ships with the microphone for immediate mounting on a stand.
