A Hi-ENERGY neodymium magnet raises output and tightens transient response, so you can run less preamp gain and keep the channel quiet. The cardioid pattern reduces pickup from the sides and rear, which isolates the singer from monitors, guitar cabinets, and the rest of the stage and improves gain before feedback.

Handling is where a working mic earns its place.
