Audio Technica ATW-1102 System 10 Wireless Microphone System w/ Handheld Mic

The ATW-1102 is a handheld wireless system for vocalists, presenters, and event use. It pairs the ATW-R1100 receiver with the ATW-T1002 handheld unidirectional dynamic microphone and transmitter, plus an AT8456a Quiet-Flex stand clamp with 5/8"-27 threads for silent stand mounting.

Audio runs at 24-bit/48 kHz in the 2.4 GHz range, so the system avoids the crowded UHF spectrum where TV and DTV traffic causes dropouts. Setup is immediate: power on, sync, and read the pairing on the digital ID display. Up to eight channels operate together with no group selection or frequency coordination.

Three levels of diversity assurance keep the audio connected. Frequency diversity sends the signal on two dynamically allocated frequencies, time diversity uses multiple time slots to resist multipath reflection, and space diversity puts two antennas on both the transmitter and receiver. Typical operating range is 30 m (100 ft) with a 20 Hz to 20 kHz system response.

The receiver provides balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" outputs with level control for consoles, mixers, and powered speakers. Two AA alkaline batteries run the handheld over 7 hours. It fits bands, houses of worship, schools, and conference rooms that need a reliable handheld without RF planning.
