Product Description
True diversity reception uses two antennas and picks the stronger signal continuously, which keeps audio steady across a typical 300 ft operating range in rooms where reflections and bodies block line of sight. Image rejection of 60 dB nominal and 20 dBuV RF sensitivity hold the noise floor down.
The cardioid dynamic capsule rejects side and rear pickup, giving usable gain before feedback in front of monitors and house speakers. Switchable RF power lets you run 30 mW for range or 10 mW to conserve battery, stretching two AA alkalines to 9 hours on the low setting.
The receiver mounts in a rack with the included adapters and outputs on balanced XLR at +9 dBV or unbalanced 1/4" at +4 dBV, with a two-position attenuator switch for 0 or -12 dB. Two flexible UHF antennas and an AC adapter are included, along with an AT8456a Quiet-Flex stand clamp for the microphone.
Features
-
Steady Signal
True diversity reception continuously selects the stronger of two antennas, keeping audio connected across a typical 300 ft range even when bodies block line of sight.
-
Feedback Control
The cardioid dynamic capsule rejects side and rear pickup, giving usable gain in front of wedge monitors and house speakers.
-
Range Or Runtime
Switchable 30 mW and 10 mW RF power lets you trade distance for battery life, stretching two AA alkalines to 9 hours on the low setting.
-
Ten Channels Ready
Ten selectable channels in Band I let several systems run together in the same room without custom frequency coordination or specialized RF planning.
-
Rack Ready
Rack-mount adapters ship in the box, and balanced XLR plus unbalanced 1/4" outputs with a -12 dB attenuator match any console.
