Product Description
The system runs on the VHF high band between 169.505 and 171.905 MHz with four user-switchable, frequency-coordinated channels. If one channel picks up noise, you switch to another on the receiver and transmitter and keep going. Operating range reaches 200' in typical conditions, with a frequency response of 80 Hz to 13 kHz tuned for speech clarity.
The handheld microphone and transmitter are a single unit, so there is no body-pack to clip on and no mic cable to run. Pass it between speakers during Q&A, hand it to a vocalist, or set it on a stand with the included AT8456a Quiet-Flex stand clamp.
The ATW-R900a is a single-channel receiver with a dipole antenna design that adds a ground element alongside the usual signal element for longer working distance. Front-panel volume control sets the level, and AF Peak, RF, and Power indicators show at a glance whether the transmitter is on, in range, and running clean. Balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" output jacks connect to mixers, powered speakers, camera inputs, and portable PA systems. The receiver housing is stackable, so two or three channels sit neatly on a podium shelf or equipment cart. a handheld microphone/transmitter runs on two AA batteries for roughly 8 hours of alkaline runtime, enough for a full teaching day or a weekend of services.
Features
-
Four Channels, No Coordination Session
Pick one of four frequency-coordinated VHF channels on the receiver and transmitter, so a second or third system can join the room without a spectrum scan.
-
Coverage For The Whole Room
The dipole antenna design adds a ground element to the signal element, holding a stable link out to 200' across classrooms, sanctuaries, and small halls.
-
Connects To What You Already Own
Balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" output jacks feed mixers, powered speakers, and portable PA systems without extra adapters or impedance converters.
-
Status You Can Read Across The Stage
AF Peak, RF, and Power indicators show transmitter status and level at a glance, so you catch a dead battery or a hot signal before the audience does.
-
Stacks On A Crowded Shelf
The low-profile receiver housing stacks with other System 9 units, keeping two or three channels tidy on a podium shelf or equipment cart.
