ATK12D4

The Autotek ATK12D4 is a 12-inch car audio subwoofer built to add low-end output to a factory or aftermarket system. It handles 400W RMS and 800W peak, and its dual 4-ohm voice coils give you wiring options: a 2-ohm or 8-ohm final load depending on how you connect it. That flexibility makes it straightforward to match the sub to a mono amplifier you already own or one you plan to add later.

A 2-inch voice coil rides on a vented aluminum former that pulls heat away from the motor structure, and the heavy gauge powder-coated stamped steel basket vents from the back so cool air keeps moving through the assembly during long listening sessions. Less heat means less distortion and more consistent output. The pressure-treated foam surround and poly cotton spider keep cone motion linear at high excursion, so bass stays defined instead of turning muddy when you turn it up. A vented high-energy motor with heavy-duty magnets supports the power handling and raises SPL.

Installation is direct. The 10.94-inch cut-out, 5.61-inch mounting depth and 12.25-inch outside diameter match standard 12-inch enclosures, and spade terminals accept common connectors without soldering. Autotek recommends a small sealed box for tight, controlled bass or a medium to large vented box when you want more output. Sensitivity is rated at 86dB (1 watt/1 meter).

At 7.1 lb, the ATK12D4 fits trunk builds, truck cab boxes, and daily-driver systems where you want real low end without rebuilding everything around it.
