SM-1200.4D

The Autotek SM-1200.4D is a compact four-channel Class D amplifier from the Street Machine series, rated at 1200W maximum power. It delivers 4 x 300W at 2 ohms, 4 x 150W at 4 ohms, and bridges to 2 x 600W at 4 ohms. Operating modes cover four-channel stereo, dual stereo bridged, stereo plus bridged mono, and dual bridged mono, so one amplifier handles a straight speaker upgrade or a mixed speaker and subwoofer build.

The chassis measures 6.75 x 6.125 x 2.06 inches and weighs 2.7 lb, small enough to mount under a seat, behind a kick panel, or on the back of a rear seat frame. Pro-Fi High Speed MOSFETs handle the output stage while Sound Shield Technology adds mass to the aluminum heat sink, keeping the amp cool and limiting heat-related distortion on long trips.

Fully adjustable 12dB high-pass and low-pass crossovers each cover 40Hz to 400Hz. Set the high-pass so door speakers stop trying to reproduce bass, or set the low-pass on the bridged channels feeding a sub. Variable input voltage from 0.2 to 6V matches factory or aftermarket head units, and greater than 100dB signal-to-noise keeps the noise floor low.

Nickel-plated brass terminals resist corrosion, screw-down connectors work with common hand tools, and an internal 35A fuse plus LED protection indicators cover overload and speaker short conditions.
