SM-2000.2D

The Autotek SM-2000.2D is a Street Machine series Class D two-channel amplifier rated at 2000W maximum power. It delivers 2 x 1000W at 2 ohms, 2 x 500W at 4 ohms, and bridges to 1 x 2000W at 4 ohms. It can also run stereo and bridged mono at the same time, so a single amplifier powers a pair of door speakers and a subwoofer in one install.

Fully adjustable 12dB high-pass and low-pass crossovers each cover 40Hz to 400Hz. Set the high-pass and your door speakers stop wasting power on bass they cannot reproduce, which cleans up midrange at higher volume. Set the low-pass on the bridged output and the sub only sees low frequencies.

Pro-Fi High Speed MOSFETs handle the output stage with high efficiency and low distortion, while Sound Shield Technology adds mass to the aluminum heat sink so heat stays under control and away from the signal. Frequency response runs 20Hz to 20kHz with greater than 100dB signal-to-noise.

RCA inputs and a low noise preamplifier circuit keep interference out of the signal path from head unit to speaker. Variable input voltage from 0.2 to 6V matches factory and aftermarket sources. Nickel-plated brass terminals take 4 GA power and 8 GA speaker wire, screw-down connectors work with standard hand tools, and LED indicators show overload and speaker short protection. An external 40A fuse covers overcurrent.
