SM-3000.2D

The Autotek SM-3000.2D is the highest output two-channel amplifier in the Street Machine Class D line, rated at 3000W maximum power. It delivers 2 x 1500W at 2 ohms, 2 x 750W at 4 ohms, and bridges to 1 x 3000W at 4 ohms. It also runs stereo and bridged mono simultaneously, so one amplifier can power front speakers and a subwoofer in the same system.

Fully adjustable 12dB high-pass and low-pass crossovers each cover 40Hz to 400Hz. High-pass filtering keeps door speakers off bass they cannot reproduce, which cleans up the midrange when the volume goes up. Low-pass filtering keeps the bridged output focused on subwoofer frequencies.

Pro-Fi High Speed MOSFETs handle the output stage with high efficiency and low distortion, while Sound Shield Technology adds mass to the aluminum heat sink so heat stays away from the signal. Frequency response runs 20Hz to 20kHz with greater than 100dB signal-to-noise.

RCA inputs and a low noise preamplifier circuit keep interference out of the path from head unit to speaker, and variable input voltage from 0.2 to 6V works with factory or aftermarket sources. Nickel-plated brass terminals accept 4 GA power and 8 GA speaker wire, screw-down connectors take standard hand tools, and LED indicators on the end panel report overload and speaker short protection. An external 50A fuse handles overcurrent.
