EC-V Ethernet Controller with Volume Control - Black

The BSS EC-V is an Ethernet wall controller for Harman HiQnet systems, giving staff a simple way to adjust audio without opening a laptop. It controls and monitors parameters on BSS Audio Soundweb London processors, Crown DCi series amplifiers, and other HiQnet devices, so one plate can cover volume, mute, and preset recall for a zone.

A single Ethernet port carries configuration, control, monitoring, and PoE power, so one cable is all the wiring the plate needs. Setup happens in HiQnet Audio Architect through drag-and-drop assignment, which keeps programming time short even on multi-zone jobs.

The push/rotary encoder rotates for continuous parameters such as level and presses for binary functions such as mute or preset recall. The surrounding encoder ring is backlit in eight selectable colors with adjustable intensity, and can show a bouncing audio meter, a temporary volume reading while the knob turns, or a red/green state after a press.

Sleep functionality turns off all LEDs after a set period without user input, which keeps the plate dark in a dimmed restaurant, theater, or house of worship until someone touches it. Any interaction wakes the controller. Remote lock and unlock from another control system keeps guests and staff out of settings that should not change during an event.

The black finish comes in single-gang US Decora or single-gang EU form factor, so it fits standard back boxes in conference rooms, bars, retail floors, gyms, and lecture halls.
