E19 Miniature Earworn Microphone

The CAD E19 is a miniature earworn condenser microphone for CAD Audio wireless bodypack systems. It hooks over the ear and places the capsule a short, fixed distance from the mouth, so level stays consistent while the talker moves, turns their head or gestures. That consistency is the point for presenters, worship leaders, fitness instructors, theater performers and anyone who needs both hands free. The omnidirectional pattern captures the voice evenly regardless of small shifts in head position and resists the proximity buildup and wind puffs that come with tighter patterns worn close to the mouth. Frequency response runs below 20Hz to 20kHz for full, natural voice reproduction, and 138dB max SPL means a shouted line or a loud stage monitor will not overload the capsule. Sensitivity is -46dBV (5.0mV) at 1 Pa into 1200 ohms, matched to the 5VDC bias supplied by wireless bodypack transmitters. At 0.7 oz (20 g) the E19 is light enough that performers stop noticing it during a long set or a full class, and the low-profile body keeps it visually discreet on camera and on stage. The E19 is RoHS compliant.
