CBT 70J-1-WH [Open Box]

The CBT 70J-1 brings Constant Beamwidth Technology to a smaller-format line array column in a white finish, suited for rooms that need consistent coverage without the size of a full CBT 1000 system. Sixteen 1 inch soft-dome tweeters and four 5 inch high-power woofers, arranged coaxially, use complex analog delay beam-forming and amplitude tapering to hold steady vertical coverage and avoid the narrow beaming and lobing typical of straight column speakers. Vertical pattern is switchable between a 45 degree setting for medium-throw rooms and a 25 degree setting for longer throws, and switchable voicing toggles between a flat music response and a speech-forward midrange lift. Power handling reaches 500 W peak, with dynamic SonicGuard overload protection guarding the high-frequency drivers during sustained loud passages. The fiberglass-reinforced ABS cabinet and painted aluminum grille resist moisture, UV, and salt spray, reaching IP-55 with the optional panel cover for outdoor-capable installs. An included swivel and tilt wall bracket allows plus or minus 80 degrees of left-right aim and continuous tilt adjustment, with ten M6 mounting points on the back panel for third-party bracket compatibility. This size and flexibility make it a fit for classrooms, houses of worship, and mid-size venues that need column coverage in a smaller cabinet.
