CBT 70J-1-WH + CBT 70JE-1-WH

The CBT 70J-1-WH and CBT 70JE-1-WH stack into one complete JBL line array column for large rooms where speech and music need to reach the back row as clearly as the front. On its own, the CBT 70J-1-WH is a two-way column with sixteen 1" soft dome tweeters and four 5" woofers rated at 500 W (2000 W peak). Mount the CBT 70JE-1-WH extension on top with the included coupler plate and you add four more low-frequency drivers and another 500 W of power handling, taking bass response down to 45 Hz and extending pattern control to 400 Hz. Constant Beamwidth Technology keeps vertical coverage consistent across frequencies and cuts the out-of-coverage lobing common to straight columns, while asymmetrical coverage throws more sound toward the far end of the room so front-to-back levels stay even.

Setup adapts to the space. One switch sets vertical coverage to 45° for medium throw or 25° for long throw, and another toggles between flat music voicing and a speech mode with a midrange presence lift for lectures and announcements. The included swivel/tilt wall bracket gives up to +/-80° of pan and +/-15° of tilt, so you can aim the array right at the audience. Finished in white with a fiberglass-reinforced ABS cabinet and painted aluminum grille, the system fits auditoriums, lecture halls, stadiums, and theme parks without drawing attention to itself.
