CBT 70JE-1-WH + RWM-66

This kit pairs the white CBT 70JE-1-WH extension with a Rockville RWM-66 wireless system, covering both halves of the job in auditoriums and lecture halls: louder, more controlled coverage from an existing JBL CBT 70J-1 column, and six wireless mics for the people speaking through it. The CBT 70J-1 column is required and sold separately.

The extension mounts to the top of the CBT 70J-1 with the included coupler plate, adding four low-frequency drivers and a crossover network inside a fiberglass-reinforced ABS enclosure. Rated at 500 W with high sensitivity, it extends bass response down to 45 Hz, carries pattern control to 400 Hz for +/-20° control and to 200 Hz for substantial off-axis cancellation, and raises overall output. Constant Beamwidth Technology holds directivity consistent up to the highest frequencies, while asymmetrical vertical coverage projects a tighter pattern toward the far end of the room, so the back rows hear levels closer to the front. Switchable voicing gives flat response for music or a midrange presence peak for speech, and the white finish blends into light walls.

The RWM-66 takes care of the input side. Six metal handheld dynamic mics each get 8 selectable frequencies (48 channels total), and one-button switching auto-syncs each mic with the 1U metal rack receiver. Individual XLR outputs send every mic to its own mixer channel, or the XLR and 1/4" mix output combines all six into one. With 300' to 400' of indoor range and up to 10 hours per set of batteries, panel discussions, graduations, and stage events run without mic cables crossing the floor.
