The Celestion CF1840JD is an 18-inch woofer for high-output subwoofer cabinets. It handles 1,200W AES and 2,400W continuous into 8 Ohm, with 97dB sensitivity and a 30Hz to 2,500Hz range, so it reaches into kick and synth bass territory while staying controlled at concert levels. A 100mm copper voice coil on a glass fibre former sits in a motor with balanced airflow venting, which moves heat out of the gap during long sets and keeps power compression in check.
