Eight 15

The Celestion Eight 15 is an 8-inch guitar speaker that brings British voicing to small combos. It is rated at 20W into 8 Ohm with 95dB sensitivity and a 100Hz to 5,000Hz range, with well-balanced mids and highs sitting on a bottom end far bigger than the cone size suggests. That matters because most 8-inch speakers thin out as soon as you add gain, while this one holds body under a fuzz or overdrive pedal. A ceramic magnet and 1-inch round copper voice coil on a pressed steel chassis keep the unit at 2.2 lb, so it adds no real weight to a small practice amp. The main use case is upgrading a low-wattage combo that sounds boxy from the factory, bringing depth, girth, and punch to a rig you already own. It also works well in small open-back cabinets for recording, where an 8-inch driver gives a microphone a tighter, more focused pattern to work with. Cut-out diameter is 183mm with four mounting holes on a 195mm PCD, and overall depth is 3.3 inches, so it fits shallow cabinets. Also available in 4 Ohm for junior combos that need it.
