G10 Gold

The Celestion G10 Gold is a 10-inch alnico guitar speaker that pairs classic alnico warmth with the faster response of a smaller cone. It handles 40W into 8 Ohm with 98dB sensitivity and an 80Hz to 6,000Hz range, giving a rich low end, creamy midrange, and vintage chiming top end with more attack and immediacy than a 12 provides. Springy, warm, and expressive under the fingers, it rewards dynamic playing and picks up the detail in your touch. Use one on its own to add polish to a small combo, pair them for more air and volume, or load four into a 4x10 for depth and shimmer at higher volume with less of the boom a 4x12 produces. That makes it a strong option for blues, roots, country, and studio work where you want alnico character in a tighter package. A 1.75-inch round copper voice coil and pressed steel chassis keep unit weight at 6.0 lb. Cut-out diameter is 229mm with eight mounting holes on a 244mm PCD and 135mm overall depth.
