G12H-75 Creamback 16 Ohm

The Celestion G12H-75 Creamback combines the tonal signature of the classic G12H with Creamback power handling. The original G12H came from fitting a heavy H-type magnet to a G12M frame, producing firmer bass and a more pronounced top end. The same idea applied to the G12M-65 Creamback gives you this speaker: 75W of power handling at 16 Ohm, 100dB sensitivity, and a 70Hz to 5,000Hz range. Compared with the G12M-65 Creamback, the low end is tighter and the high end punchier and more dynamic. The H magnet adds focus, body, and girth, thickening single notes into an articulate vocal character that suits lead playing particularly well. Loaded into a 4x12 it sounds large without losing definition. The 16 Ohm version is the right choice for heads that specify a 16 Ohm load, and it makes series-parallel wiring in a 4x12 straightforward at an 8 or 16 Ohm total. Unit weight is 10.4 lb with a 1.42kg ceramic magnet, 138mm overall depth, 283mm cut-out, and eight mounting holes on a 297mm PCD.
