G12H-75 Creamback 8 Ohm

The Celestion G12H-75 Creamback puts classic G12H voicing behind Creamback power handling. The original G12H was made by fitting a heavy H-type magnet to a G12M frame, which produced firmer bass and a more pronounced top end. Applying the same magnet to the G12M-65 Creamback produces this speaker: 75W at 8 Ohm, 100dB sensitivity, and a 70Hz to 5,000Hz range. Next to the G12M-65 Creamback, the bass is tighter and the treble punchier and more dynamic. The H magnet adds focus, body, and girth, thickening single notes into a highly articulate vocal character that works especially well for lead guitar, and it sounds massive loaded into a 4x12. The 8 Ohm version is the common match for single-speaker cabinets and combos, and it is the easier option when wiring a 2x12 to a 4 or 16 Ohm total. A 1.42kg ceramic magnet and 1.75-inch copper voice coil on a pressed steel chassis bring unit weight to 10.4 lb with 138mm overall depth. Cut-out diameter is 283mm with eight mounting holes on a 297mm PCD.
