G12M Greenback 8 Ohm

The Celestion G12M Greenback has evolved over the decades while holding on to the tone people keep coming back for. This 8 Ohm version is rated at 25W with 98dB sensitivity across a 75Hz to 5,000Hz range. The low power rating is the point: the speaker compresses and breaks up as the amp is worked, which is where its grit and personality live. Voicing centres on broad midrange attack with a restrained top end, giving chords a forward, punchy attitude and single notes a searing lead quality that never turns fizzy.
