Heritage G12-65 15 Ohm

The Celestion Heritage G12-65 recreates the late-seventies G12-65, widely regarded as one of the best guitar speakers ever made for a 4x12 cabinet. It handles 65W at 15 Ohm with 97dB sensitivity and an 80Hz to 5,000Hz range. The voicing is built on fast attack and a tightly controlled low end, which is exactly what made it the hard rock favourite of the early eighties. A precisely tuned midrange and crisp, defined top end give chords an aggressive crunch that punches through a mix, while midrange warmth and detail add weight and depth to single notes. Built with the materials and construction methods of the original, it is the speaker to specify when you are restoring a period cabinet or building a new one to vintage spec. The 15 Ohm rating matches the original standard and suits heads and cabinets wired for that load.
