This bundle pairs the Data Stream 8 DMX splitter with eight 25 ft DMX cables, giving a rig both the signal-distribution hardware and the cable to wire it out to fixtures in one order. The splitter takes two DMX inputs and distributes them across eight optically isolated outputs, so a short in one line doesn't take down the rest of the fixtures on the chain. A main 3-position switch sends either input to all eight outputs at once, while individual 2-position switches let specific outputs pull from input A or B separately for more complex control setups. A threaded insert lets the splitter mount securely to overhead truss instead of sitting loose on the ground or a rack shelf. Rack-mountable at 1U, it fits into an existing equipment rack alongside a DMX controller and other rack gear. The eight included cables run 25 ft each with nickel-plated, oxygen-free copper conductors and internal strain relief at the XLR connectors, rated at true 120 ohm impedance instead of mismatched mic cable. That length reaches across larger stages or truss spans without needing to splice in shorter cable partway through the run.
