D-Fi Hub 2 removes the DMX cable run from your setup. It works as both a wireless transmitter and a wireless receiver in one 3.9 x 3 x 1.6 in box, sending DMX over 2.412 to 2.484 GHz at up to 656 ft unobstructed. That covers a ballroom, a church sanctuary, a parking lot stage, or a run of uplights across a lobby with no cable to tape down or trip over. One hub can synchronize an unlimited number of D-Fi-ready fixtures and receivers at the same time, so a single transmitter feeds an entire rig. Paired with an ILS system, it sends and receives ILS protocol as well, which makes it a straightforward addition to a rig already built around ILS fixtures. LED indicators on the unit show TX or RX status and the active D-Fi frequency at a glance, so troubleshooting takes seconds instead of guesswork. Mounting is handled two ways: a built-in hook-and-loop fastener strap wraps directly around truss, and M10 threaded holes accept direct hardware mounting. A USB-C passthrough port sends power onward to another device, cutting the number of outlets you need behind the truss. Power comes from an external supply running 100 to 240 VAC to 5 VDC at 2 A, and the unit weighs 0.2 lb, so it adds nothing meaningful to your case weight. The hub is fully FCC and R&TTE compliant. Mobile DJs, production companies, and permanent installs all use it the same way: get signal where cable cannot practically go.
