Each SlimPAR 56 ILS packs 108 tri-color LEDs into a low-profile housing with an on-fixture menu for color mixing and static colors without a DMX line, plus ILS compatibility for joining a coordinated light show with other fixtures. Built-in automated programs run through Master/Slave or DMX mode, and power linking multiple units cuts down on the number of extension cords needed. The included RDX3M25 cable uses OFC copper conductors and true 120-ohm construction, which is the actual specification real DMX signal cable needs; a standard microphone cable's different impedance and capacitance make it a poor substitute and can cause flicker or dropped commands. Having a proper cable in the box means the pair is ready to run from a DMX controller the moment it's unboxed, without a separate cable purchase or the risk of grabbing the wrong cable type from a gear bag.
