This lot of 32 genuine Chauvet DMX cables at 5 feet each is built for short jumps between fixtures on a truss or in a rack, the kind of connection a lighting rig needs constantly but a single long cable can't handle cleanly. Chauvet manufactures these cables specifically for lighting control at a true 120 ohm impedance, unlike standard microphone XLR cable, which runs at roughly 70 ohms and causes interference when used for DMX.
